However, printing a new brochure each year was prohibitively expensive. During the planning and development phase, Ms. Sundstrom and her team identified the one page of information that needed to be changed from one year to the next. They developed an innovative, flexible design that allowed the College to produce enough brochures to last two years while allowing for easy updates.
In addition to this practical solution, Ms. Sundstrom’s cover design helped to visually reinforce the brochure’s message—how giving to the Investor’s Fund enables the College to bridge the gap between ever-declining state support and the rising cost of a business education. The College realized a 22% increase in donations during the brochure’s first year of use.
